Haag-Streit Simulation is a pioneer in the development of virtual reality simulators for medical training. Around the world, ophthalmologists and medical students hone their diagnostic and surgical skills using the high-end simulators of Haag-Streit Simulation – without any stress or risk for patients. Around 100 employees currently work at the site in Mannheim.

Market & Product Application Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Market and Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the global perimetry sector
  • Stay at the forefront and anticipate market needs, trends, and upcoming value propositions relevant in perimetry
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform product development and marketing strategies department
  • Proactively identify and drive changes leading to improvement of the perimetry product portfolio aiming at increasing its commercial success
  • Recognize and analyse clinical and technical trends
• Customer and Sales Support:
  • Provide expert support to customers and Area Sales Managers regarding product applications, features, and benefits
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to address customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
• Training and Development:
  • Develop and conduct training programs for both internal and external stakeholders on perimetry products and applications
  • Create training materials, and resources to enhance product knowledge and application proficiency
• Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, Marketing Communications (Marcom), and Product Management teams to ensure alignment in strategies and execution
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to streamline processes and enhance overall product performance
• Event Participation:
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Engage with customers, gather feedback, and stay informed about industry developments

Your qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field
• Experience:
  • Relevant experience in perimetry, with a proven track record in a managerial or similar role
  • Background in sales or a technical field is highly desirable
• Skills:
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good nterpersonal and communication skills
• Teamwork:
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Training and Development:
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering effective training programs
